Lord Lieutenant's Certificate of Commendation for Meritorious Service

At a ceremony recently held in the Devon County Hall, Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon, Eric Dancer ESQ CBE JP presented Civilian Instructor Jaqui Woodard with a Certificate of Commendation for Meritorious Service.

This is the highest award at county level before national honours and is awarded to deserving people who are connected with the Reserve Forces and Cadet Forces. Long Service alone is not the main criterion for the award, it has to be service of an exceptionally high order which sets the recipient apart from others.

The Award is also for outstanding and selfless commitment, which Mrs Woodard has shown throughout her many years with 2469 (Exeter St Thomas) squadron.
