Donation and Gift AidThe information below applies to UK residents only. In April 2000 the British Government changed the way people can donate to charities, so even the smallest donation you make to a charity can now have tax repaid to the charity. Effectively this means that for every £1 donated by a tax paying individual, the charity can reclaim the tax that is paid, directly from the Inland Revenue.
