Welcome to 2469 (Exeter St Thomas) Squadron

The Air Training Corps (ATC) - is one of the largest uniformed youth organisations in the UK - supported by the Royal Air Force and partly as a charity, within this, 2469 (Exeter St. Thomas) Squadron gives young people the opportunity to experience a whole range of exciting activities and events.

Air Cadets, both male and female, aged 12 to 18 get the opportunity to participate in a range of activities. Where else can you learn to fly, visit RAF Stations, tour foreign countries, play sports from local to International level, lead expeditions, become a shooting marksman, gain Duke of Edinburgh's Awards and BTEC qualifications, assist your community, join a band, learn aviation subjects, parachute, climb, sail, ski .... ?
All this and more is available as a member of the ATC.

No cadet ever leaves the Air Cadets without making some improvement to their confidence, leadership, judgment and the ability to think on their feet - all of which are essential attributes in today's competitive academic and work environments.

Crediton Detached Flight

2469 (Exeter St Thomas) Squadron also has a Detached Flight operating from Queen Elizabeth's Academy Trust, Upper School, Crediton, which parades from 7pm until 8:30pm every Tuesday evening in College House.    For more information regarding the Crediton Detached Flight - click on this link.

Squadron Recruit Dates

The next Information Evenings for parents and cadets are -  Exeter St Thomas - Monday 25th and Thursday 28th June 2018.    Crediton - Tuesday 267th June and Tuesday 3rd July 2018.
Cadets wishing to join, together with their parents, should aim to arrive around 7pm on the date specified.   For further details, please see our Joining Details page..
