Joining as a Cadet2469 (Exeter St Thomas) Squadron operates a recruitment system where all new recruits join at the same time. This means you will always be with a group of like minded people who are eager to experience the Air Training Corps. Our recruitment dates are typically in early January, April, July and October - click here for exact intake dates. To join you must be 12 or over, and in year 8, but less than 17, and cadets of all backgrounds and abilities are welcome, we keep costs as low as possible and even supply your uniform free of charge. If you are interested in joining as a cadet, you can download our Recruitment Information Pack here, or check our Information Sheet Page which gives more details about the squadron. Prospective cadets and their parents are welcome to visit us at any time during one of our parade nights to see if you like it - there is no obligation to join! We will be able to discuss what we do and answer any questions that you may have. Answers to some of the more common questions are on our FAQ page. Who can Join? The squadron is open to all boys and girls who are 12 or over and in year 8. Where does 2469 Squadron meet ? We parade in the ATC HQ building on the Cowick Barton Playing Fields, Old Vicarage Road, St Thomas. ( Click here for a location map.) When does 2469 squadron parade ? We parade Monday and Thursday evenings from 19:00hrs to 21:30hrs. How do I join?
