The staff and cadets
If you are holding an event or activity, |
Community ActivitiesOur cadets are always willing and active to support the local community. We have helped with many local projects like; 'The RSPCA Open Day in Little Valley', where we have helped with traffic flow and parking for many years. 'The Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary Open Day', where we have helped with parking for many years. 'The Tedburn Fair', where we help with the parking and traffic control. 'The Dunsford Show', where we marshal, steward and help with the traffic. 'Exwick at War' where cadets helped with programmes and refreshments. 'The Party in the Park', where cadets and staff organised the car parking and marshalling. Locally 2469 Squadron is actively involved in the annual British Legion Poppy Appeal, collecting for this most worth-while appeal, and staff and cadets are always in attendance for the Remembrance Sunday Parade in Alphington. We also collect locally for the Royal Air Forces Association Wings Appeal, and we are also present at the annual Battle of Britain Parade in Exeter. | |
