The Duke of Edinburgh Award
The Duke Of Edinburgh's Award Scheme is open to young people between the ages of 14 and 25, and the Air Training Corps is one of the largest participants. The scheme is devised so as to give young people the opportunity to experience challenge and adventure, to make new friends and to acquire new skills. The award itself is in three progressive levels : Bronze Level, entry at 14 years Silver Level, entry at 15 years Gold Level, entry at 16 years Each of the above levels is also divided into four main sections which include :
